Please find attached our outline programme for 2026. As in previous years, we are planning to run four forums and also to hold informal coffee evenings in each of the eight months when there is no forum. We will also arrange some visits to places of worship.Beneath the table of events you will find an explanation of what is meant by the terms ‘forum’ and ‘informal gathering’ and also further detail on the content of each forum.

NOTES TO THE TABLE
‘Forums’ are meetings which are sometimes led by a speaker or a panel of speakers but which always allow substantial time for group discussion. They are held at Hull Guildhall (HU1 2AA), normally on Tuesdays. Refreshments are available from 17.00, meetings proper start at 17.30 and end at 19.00. In contrast, ‘Informal gatherings’ have no set format. Rather there is an open invitation to turn up, talk freely and enjoy the company of others. These normally run on Wednesdays between 17.30 and 19.00 Costa in King Edward Street, Hull HU1 3SS.
We make no charges for any of our events. An entirely voluntary contribution may be made at our forums to cover the cost of refreshments In the case of informal gatherings attendees pay for their own purchases.
